Aaron Swartz, creator of RSS commits suicide

Life is full of ups and downs! According to information published in several international sites and have been confirmed recently by the lawyer's own uncle and Aaron Swartz, this will have committed suicide on 11th January in New York, in her apartment.
Born in 1986, Swartz was co-author of the first specification of the RSS when he was only 14 years and was co-founder of the site Reddit (news website based on social sharing). He was a defender of freedom of expression and free flow of information on the Internet and awaiting trial for being accused of stealing about 5 million documents in a web-based platform called JSTOR.


Swartz, through some articles published, was already showing signs of depression and health. Student at Stanford University, a member of the Experimental Center for Ethics at Harvard University, became known after being accused in July 2011 of breaking into the servers of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and stealing about 5 million articles of scientific content and literário.Sabe that the penalty could reach 35 years in prison.


Considered a genius by the hacker community, Swartz was also a founder of Demand Progress , a group of defenders of freedom of expression on the Internet, created with the aim of achieving progressive changes in policies. Note that this group stood out during the protests against the bill SOPA (Stop Online Piracy Act).
Swartz dies at age 26 ... and certainly that this "small" Computer prodigy would still much to give the world of computing / technology.
